Aim
1) Etudier toutes questions relatives aux industries des peintures, vernis, encres d'imprimerie et couleurs d'art.
Promouvoir les intérêts communs ainsi que les connaissances de l'industrie représentée par les associations adhérentes.
Rechercher plus particulièrement des solutions collectives dans les questions d'intérêt général concernant la santé de l'homme et de l'environnement.
Représenter les associations adhérentes auprès des organismes professionnels compétents ou supranationaux officiels.
Prêter son concours, dans la mesure de ses moyens, aux autorités supranationales lors de l'élaboration de réglementations pouvant influer sur l'activité de l'industrie qu'elle représente.
Guider les associations membres par des recommandations.
Recueillir, échanger et diffuser toutes les informations nécessaires à la réalisation de son objet.

2) To examine all questions relating to the industry concerned with paints, varnishes, printing inks and artitst's colours.
To promote the common interest and knowledge of the industry represented by its member associations.
More particularly, to seek collective solutions to questions of general interest relating to human and environmental health.
To represent the member associations in dealing with competent professional or supranational official bodies.
To co-operate, as far as possible, with supranational authorities in the preparation of regulations which could affect the activities of the industry which it represents.
To provide guidance for the member associations by its recommendations.
To collect, exchange and circulate all information necessary for the achievement of its objectives.

3) Sich mit allen Fragen zu befassen, die die Industrien der Lacke, Anstrichmittel, Druckfarben und Künstlerfarben betreffen.
Die gemeinsamen Interessen sowie die Kenntnisse der von den Mitgliedverbänden vertretenen Industrien zu fördern.
Im besonderen gemeinsame Lösungen in Fragen von allgemeinem Interesse, die die menschliche Gesundheit und die Umwelt betreffen, zu suchen.
Die Mitgliedverbände bei den zuständigen Wirtschaftsverbänden oder den offiziellen supranationalen Organisationen zu vertreten.
Nach Maßgabe seiner Möglichkeiten die supranationalen Behörden bei der Ausarbeitung von Regelungen, die die Tätigkeit der von ihm vertretenen Industrie beeinflussen können, zu unterstützen.
Die Mitgliedverbände durch Empfehlungen zu beraten.
Alle zur Verwirklichung seiner Zielsetzung notwendigen Informationen einzuholen, auszutauschen und zu verbreiten.
