3) Unterstützung und Förderung der europäischen Ideale in Verbindung mit den Aktivitäten der Bauüberwachung.
Verbindung zu und Unterstützung der Europäischen Kommission, den Mitgliedstaaten und der Regierungs-, Berufs- und Privatinstitutionen in bezug auf Fragen der Bauüberwachung.
Teilnahme an den Arbeiten der Normungsorganisationen und Ausdruck der Interessen der Ausführenden der Bauüberwachung.

Förderung der Wissenschaft und Gesetzgebung bezüglich Bauüberwachung durch Bereitstellung einer Plattform für Diskussionen von Fragen gegenseitigen Interessens. Austausch, Publikation und Verbreitung von Informationen.
Beteiligung an Forschungsprogrammen und Projekten, die für die Entwicklung einer europäischen Bauüberwachung als förderlich erachtet werden.

2) Members of the Consortium must be accredited representatives of independent building control organisations from any European country.
Membership is open to professional associations or institutions engaged in inspecting design and/or on site operations conncected with the erection of safe and healthy buildings, minimising structural defects and the use of proper materials all in accordance with national legislative requirements.

3) Die Mitglieder des Konsortiums sind anerkannte Vertreter der Bau-Überwachungsorganisationen aus allen europäischen Ländern.
Die Mitgliedschaft ist offen für Berufsverbände und Institutionen, die sich mit der Überwachung von Planung und/oder Ausführung von Tätigkeiten auf der Baustelle befassen, und zwar Hinblick auf die Errichtung sicherer und gesunder Bauwerke, Minimalisierung von strukturellen Fehlern sowie die Verwendung von sauberen Baustoffen - und dies alles unter Beachtung der einschlägigen nationalen Bestimmungen.
