2) To contribute, thanks to the competence and professional formation of the professional and managerial staff, to the improvement of their moral and material conditions as well as to the civil and social progres of the different countries, especially to the participation of representatives from national organisations.
To co-ordinate the orientation of the different interprofessional national confederations and the European professional federations in order to harmonise the solutions to all problems relevant to the whole of the professional and managerial staff.
To promote, directly or by the intermediary of an interprofessional national Confederation or through European professional federations of all initiatives falling within the competence of any trade union organisation, be it at technical or cultural level assistance, in order to reach valuable solutions as well for the general economy of the different countries as for the improvement of the position of their professional and managerial staff.
To insure the representation of the European professional and managerial staff within the European Union and the European Economic Area and/or the European Free Trade Association.

3) Beitrag, dank der Kompetenz und beruflichen Ausbildung der Führungskräfte, zur Verbesserung ihrer moralischen und materiellen Bedingungen als auch zum zivilen und kulturellen Fortschritt der verschiedenen Länder, insbesondere zur Teilnahme von Vertretern der nationalen Organisationen in den verschiedenen europäischen Organisationen.
Koordinierung der Orientierungen der verschiedenen nationalen interprofessionellen Vereinigungen und der europäischen Berufsverbände zwecks Harmonisierung der Lösung aller für die Gesamtheit der Fühnungskräfte bedeutenden Probleme.
Förderung, direkt oder über nationale interprofessionelle Vereinigungen, aller Initiativen, die in die Zuständigkeit von gewerkschaftlichen Organisationen fallen - sei es die Unterstützung auf technischer oder kultureller Ebene - um zu brauchbaren Lösungen, sowohl für die Gesamtwirtschaft der verschiedenen Länder als auch für die Verbesserung der Position ihrer Führungskräfte zu gelangen.
Gewährleistung der Vertretung der europäischen Führungskräfte in der Europäischen Union, dem Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum und/oder der Europäischen Freihandelszone.

2) CEC is fully participating :
- in the consultative instancies on employment such as the Permanent Committee for Employment and the meetings with the Committee for Emplyment and the Labour Market;
- in the Committee of the Social Dialogue and the Summits of the Social Dialogue;
- in the whole negotiation process between social partners (Val Duchesse).
CEC is organising conferences on subjects of actuality interesting the professional and managerial staff.

3) CEC nimmt voll Teil :
- in den Beratungsinstanzen für Beschäftigung wie der ständige Ausschuß für Beschäftigung und die Sitzungen mit dem Ausschuß für Beschäftigung und Arbeitsmarkt;
- im Ausschuß des Sozialen Dialogs und den Gipfeltreffen des Sozialen Dialogs;
- in dem gesamten Verhandlungsprozess zwischen den Sozialpartnern (Val Duchesse).
CEC organisiert Konferenzen über aktuelle Themen, die für die Führungskrafte von Interesse sind.

2) The CEC represents a total area of more than 1 million managers in Europe.
Two kinds of organisations :
- the national interprofessional confederations regrouping the national professional federations or where the members belong to different professions;
- the European professional federations regrouping the national professional federations of the same profession.

3) Die CEC vertritt über 1 Millionen Fühnungskräfte in Europa.
Zwei Arten von Organisationen :
- nationale interprofessionelle Vereinigungen, in denen nationale Verbände zusammengeschlossen sind oder in denen Mitglieder zu verschiedenen Berufssparten gehören;
- Europäische Berufsverbände, in denen nationale Berufsverbände der gleichen Berufssparte zusammengeschlossen sind.
