2) To operate as a European industry organisation and represent the views of its members by being the acknowledged focal point of communication between the industry, European institutions and industry related organisations at the European level.
To have a substantial input to and impact on European legislation and regulation affecting the asphalt industry covered by EAPA, by taking a pro-active aproach in presenting the industry's position on relevant issues.
To promote the effective use of asphalt in the construction and maintenance of roads throughout Europe.
To encourage members to ensure that the manufacture and use of all asphalt are of high quality and that they enhance the environmental image of asphalt.
To seek opportunities in partnerships with like-minded associations and public agencies to improve information deliveries to members, clients and end-users.
To sustain a clear and positive image of asphalt pavements and of the European asphalt industry, through a focused campaign.
To increase the EAPA representation of the asphalt industry by expanding the membership, and involving the membership in the Association's activities.
To develop and exchange information and stimulate Research and Development on all aspects of the asphalt industry and to execute common projects, maximising and optimising resources.
3) Als europaweiter Verband die Interessen ihrer Mitglieder zu vertreten und zur Geltung zu bringen, wobei die EAPA die anerkannte Schnittstelle der Kommunikation zwischen Industrie, europäischen Institutionen und industrieverbundenen Organisationen in Europa ist.
Das Erarbeiten von sachlichen Beiträgen und die Einflußnahme auf europäische Gesetzgebungen und Regelungen, die die Asphaltindustrie betreffen, indem die EAPA aktiv die Industrie-Positionen zu relvanten Themen darstellt.
Die Unterstützung des Einsatzes von Asphalt bei Bau und Unterhaltung von Straßen in ganz Europa.
Das Anhalten der Mitglieder zur hohen Qualität bei Herstellung und Einbau von Asphalt sowie die Verbesserung des umweltfreundlichen Imagos von Asphalt.
Suche nach Partnerschaftsgelegenheiten mit gleichgesinnten Verbänden und öffentlichen Agenturen zur Verbesserung des Informationsflusses hin zu Mitgliedern, Kunden und Endnutzern.
Aufrechterhaltung eines positiven Imagos der Asphaltbeläge und der europäischen Asphaltindustrie über eine gezielte Aufklärungskampagne.
Vergrößerung der EAPA-Vertretung der Asphaltindustrie durch Erweiterung der Mitgliedschaft und die Einbeziehung der Mitglieder in die Verbandsaktivitäten.
Das Erarbeiten und Austauschen von Informationen sowie das Fördern von Forschung und Entwicklung in allen Bereichen der Asphaltindustrie sowie das Ausführen von gemeinsamen Projekten.

2) The aims and objectives are achieved by the following means:
By executing joint projects.
Through contact with the European Commission and its executive organisations and regular discussions and meetings with European institutions and linked organisations.
Through committee work, through publications, through congresses and symposia.
Through participation in European Research and Development programs.
Through participation in CEN-activities in connection with the European standardisation work.
Through collection and distribution of statistical data.
Via the EAPA website.
3) Die Ziele sollen auf folgende Art erreicht werden:

Durch Kontakt mit der europäischen Kommission und ihren ausführenden Organen sowie regelmäßige Diskussionen und Treffen mit europäischen Institutionen und befreundeten Organisationen.

Durch Teilnahme an europäischen Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprogrammen.
Durch Mitarbeit bei der Europäischen Normung im CEN.
Durch Sammeln und Verteilen von statistischen Daten.
