Providing advice on the suitability of products within the Single European Market and on the development of further products or services. ENBRI's services range from short term advice for individual clients, to the development and execution of long term research or application programmes for major European institutions.
Sharing the resources of their most outstanding test and research facilities to offer a large range of services to companies, to consultants, and to users and clients of the building sector.
Encourage the exchange of information between Member-Institutes and research collaboration between members. Each Member-Institute will involve other relevant organisations in the preparation of advice and in supporting research programmes, as appropriate.
Co-operate through the European Economic Interest Grouping "ENBRI Development" to develop and execute for all their clients special testing programmes and research and development programmes.

Unterstützung bei der Beratung der Kommission der Europäischen Union, von Betrieben und Berater, und von Verbrauchern und Kunden des Baugewerbes in Europa. Die Beratung von ENBRI bestreicht alle technischen Aspekte der Baumaterialien, Baukomponenten, Bausysteme und Dienstleistungen.
Beratung bei der Eignung der Produkte innerhalb des europäischen Einheitsmarktes und bei der Entwicklung von zukünftigen Produkten und Dienstleistungen. Die Dienstleistungen der ENBRI erstrecken sich von der kurzfristigen Beratung für individuelle Kunden bis zur Entwicklung und Ausführung von langfristigen Forschungs- oder Anwendungsprogrammen für die wichtigsten europäischen Institute.
Bereitstellung der Hilfsmittel der hervorragendsten Versuchs- und Forschungsinstitute, um einen breiten Fächer von Diensten an Betriebe, Berater, Kunden und Gebraucher des Baugewerbes anbieten zu können.
Förderung des Informationsaustauschs zwischen Mitgliedsinstituten und Forschungszusammenarbeit zwischen Mitglieder. Jedes Mitgliedsinstitut wird andere relevante Organisationen bei der Beratung und Unterstützung von Forschungsprogrammen mit einbeziehen.
