2) The objective of FEMIB is to promote its members associations.
The working program is aimed at giving support to competitive window and door manufacturers and to improve the general conditions of the window and door industry at European level.
FEMIB takes joint efforts in finding solutions for any problems encountered by the building joinery industry at economic, technical and social level.
Contact with other organisations is to make FEMIB more powerful.

3) Das Ziel von FEMIB ist, seine Mitgliedsverbände zu fördern.
Mit dem Arbeitsprogramm soll erreicht werden, daß die leistungsfähigen Hersteller von Fenstern und Türen unterstützt und die Rahmenbedingungen für die Fenster- und Türenbranche in Europa verbessert werden.
FEMIB sucht gemeinsam nach der Lösung von Problemen, die sich der Holzbauindustrie stellen, und zwar auf wirtschaftlicher, technischer und sozialer Ebene.
Durch Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Organisationen soll die Schlagkraft erhöht werden.

2) Members of FEMIB are the national associations or part of these associations of the manufacturers of wood windows, doors and building joinery.
Its co-operation partners are the associations FAECF and EPW (Federation of European Plastic Window Manufacturers).
Together with FEMIB they form the EuroWindoor co-operation.

3) Die Mitglieder von FEMIB sind die nationalen Verbände oder Teile davon, von Herstellern von Holzfenster, -türen und Holzbauelementen.
