Aim

1) Le but de GLULAM est de déterminer, protéger et harmoniser les intérêts de l'industrie du bois lamellé et collé.
Dans ce contexte il faut noter tout spécialement des thèmes horizontaux tels que l'application de la Directive Produits de Construction, Règlements de la Construction, des questions d'environnement, des questions techniques ainsi que d'autres affaires importantes.
De plus GLULAM organise tous les deux ans le EUROPEAN GLULAM AWARD, la distinction la plus importante au niveau international pour des réalisations extraordinaires en bois lamellé et collé.

2) The aim of GLULAM is to determine, protect and harmonise the interests of the laminated timber industries.
In this respect especially horizontal issues relating to the implementation of the Construction Products Directive, to building regulations, to environmental topics, to technical topics and other important issues have to be mentioned.
Additionally, every two years GLULAM is organising the EUROPEAN GLULAM AWARD, the biggest international award for distinction in glue-laminated timber construction.

3) GLULAM hat zum Ziel, die gemeinsamen Interessen der Brettschichtholzindustrie zu erfassen, zu schützen und zu harmonisieren.
In diesem Zusammenhang sind speziell übergreifende Themen wie die Bauprodukten-Richtlinie, Bauordnungen, Fragen des Umweltschutzes, technische Fragen und sonstige wichtige Angelegenheiten zu nennen.
Zusätzlich organisiert GLULAM alle 2 Jahre den EUROPEAN GLULAM AWARD, die größte, international verliehene Auszeichnung für außergewöhnliche Holzleimbaukonstruktionen.

Organisation

1) Les organes de GLULAM sont le président, le vice-président et la Direction.
De plus il y a deux groupes de travail : GT Affaires techniques, GT Stratégie.
Le président est élu pour deux ans.

2) The bodies of GLULAM are the President and the Vice-president and the Board.
Additionally two working groups have been established : WG technical affairs and WG strategy.
The president is elected every two years.

3) Die Organe von GLULAM sind der Präsident und der Vizepräsident sowie der Vorstand.
Zusätzlich wurden 2 Arbeitsgruppen installiert : AG Technik und AG Strategie.
Der Präsident wird alle zwei Jahre gewählt.
