2) To represent the composites branch and to take care of all its contacts with other European and international organisations and above all with the institutions of the European Union including Eurostat and CEN and also the European Economic Space (EES = EFTA + EU).
To defend its interests at European and international level and to follow-up new legislation and standards especially at the EU and EES levels whenever the composites industry is directly or indirectly concerned.
To improve mutual contacts and the exchange of information, and to ensure a useful and efficient co-operation at European level 1) between all its representative national member federations and their member companies through meetings, commissions and working groups and 2) between GPRMC and other related organisations with common interests such as the CEFIC sector groups, APME, APFE, EuPC, and the World Reinforced Plastics organisation.
To support morally or otherwise all kinds of initiatives at the European level - such as educational training, health and safety or environment protection projects, waste recycling projects - that are favourable for the further development of the further development of the composites industry.

3) Vertretung der Verbundkunstoff-Branche und Sicherstellung der Kontaktnahme zu anderen europäischen und internationalen Organisationen und vor allem mit den Institutionen der Europäischen Union einschließlich Eurostat und CEN sowie dem Europäischen Wirtschaftsraum (EWR = EFTA + EU).
Vertretung seiner Interessen auf europäischer und auf internationaler Ebene sowie Betreuung neuer Rechtsvorschriften und Normen, insbesondere auf der Ebene der EU und des EWR, und zwar immer dann, wenn die Industrie der Verbundkunststoffe direkt oder indirekt betroffen ist.
Verbesserung der gegenseitigen Kontakte und des Informationssaustausches und Zusammenarbeit auf Ebene der EU oder EWR, und zwar 1) zwischen allen repräsentativen nationalen Mitgliedsverbänden und ihren Mitgliedsunternehmen im Rahmen von Zusammenkünften, Ausschüssen und Arbeitsgruppen und 2) zwischen GPRMC und anderen einschlägigen Organisationen mit gemeinsamen Interessen wie EuPC, APME, PWMI, Plasteurotec, CEFIC, Sektorgruppen und die Weltorganisation für verstärkte Kunststoffe.
Unterstützung auf moralischer und auf jegliche andere Art aller Initiativen auf europäischer Ebene wie Ausbildung, Gesundheit und Sicherheit oder Umweltschutz- und Recyclingprojekte - die für eine Weiterentwicklung der Industrie der Verbundkunststoffe günstig sind.

2) The GPRMC Management Committee (MaCo) is composed of the GPRMC presidium, the presidents of the GPRMC Working Groups, the presidents and managers of the national associations and eventual industrialists delegated by the national associations.
The GPRMC meets in principle twice per year in order to discuss all matters and to take the necessary decisions.
The GPRMC presidium is re-elected every 2 years from the industrial representatives of the member federations.

3) Der Verwaltungsrat (MaCo) der GPRMC setzt sich zusammen aus dem Präsidium, den Vorsitzenden der Arbeitsgruppen der GPRMC, den Vorsitzenden und Leitern der nationalen Verbände und ggf. von ihren nationalen Verbänden delegierten Wirtschaftsführern.
GPRMC tritt im Prinzip zweimal jährlich zusammen, um die anstehenden Beschlüsse zu fassen.
Das Präsidium der GPRMC wird alle zwei Jahre wiedergewählt von den Wirtschaftsvertretern der Mitgliedsvereinigungen.

2) In order to fulfil part one of its third objective, GPRMC creates (temporary) working groups or commissions whenever a problem arises or a matter needs action or follow-up.
GPRMC "task oriented" working groups : The "Health & Safety" Working Group; "Composite Waste Management" Working Group.
GPRMC "Market/product oriented" working groups : " Pultrusion" Working Group in order to discuss the market situation, raw material prices, company news, work on standardisation in relation with pultrusion, work on pultrusion environmental problems; "Composite Tanks, Vessels and Pipes" Working Group; "Statistics" Working Group's is co-operate with Eurostat.

3) Zur Erfüllunng des ersten Teils seiner dritten Zielsetzung ruft GPRMC (zeitlich) Arbeitsgruppen und Ausschüsse in Leben, und zwar immer dann, wenn sich eine Frage stellt bzw. ein Sachverhalt eine Begleitung verdient.
"Aufgabenorientierte" Arbeitsgruppen der GPRMC : AG "Gesundheit und Sicherheit", AG "Verwaltung der Komposit-Abfälle"; "Markt/Produkt- orientierte" Arbeitsgruppen der GPRMC : AG "Pultrusion", AG Komposit-Reservoirs, -Behälter und -Rohre", AG "Statistik" zur Zusammenarbeit mit EUROSTAT.

2) Copies of brochures (such as e.g. the UP Resin Handling Guide) can be ordered in the local language of the country concerned through the representative national federation.
