To study professional problems of common interest of which the adhering organisations are faced with.
To organise international congresses in regular intervals or in the case where questions of general interest make such an event useful.
To take all necessary contacts and to settle whenever useful agreements with representative international organisations of commerce or of manufacturers of products for the profession or of other enterprises involved in construction.

Alle Dokumentationen, die sich auf die interessierten Berufe, Spenglerei und Sanitärinstallation beziehen, zu zentralisieren.
Berufsprobleme von gemeinsamem Interesse zu studieren, die sich den angeschlossenen Organismen stellen.
Internationale Kongresse in regelmässigen Abständen zu organisieren oder wenn Fragen von allgemeinem Interesse sie als notwendig erscheinen lassen.
Alle notwendigen Kontakte herzustellen und nützlich erscheinende Abmachungen mit den repräsentativen internationalen Organisationen des Handels, den Fabrikanten berufsbezogener Produkte, oder anderen baubezogenen Herstellerbetrieben zu treffen.

2) The UICP represents its members in the Boards of Administration of UEAPME and CEETB. Through CEETB, UICP actively participates in DG ENTR's working groups regarding the competitiveness of the construction sector.
